Swim Bike Run Triathlon Club

Our training sessions cater for athletes at all levels and ages.  Whether you want to keep generally fit or you are working towards an event such as a triathlon, a marathon, a local running event or even and Ironman all are welcome.

Swimming

Swimming on a Monday and Wednesday

Swim training on a Monday is in the pool at Clements Hall Leisure Centre, Hawkwell, SS5 4LN from 8.45pm for one hour.  Please arrive at 8:30pm as we start promptly.

​

Swim training on a Wednesday is in the pool at Clements Hall Leisure Centre, Hawkwell, SS5 4LN from 6:00am for one hour.  Please arrive at 5:45am as we start promptly.

​

Starting in spring we also run training events concentrating on open water swimming at one of the local open water venues.

Cycling

Cycling on a Wednesday evening

During the winter we train at Clements Hall Leisure Centre, Hawkwell, SS5 4LN, with a triathlon focussed spin session.  This 45 minute class starts at 7.30pm and will help you build up your strength for the season ahead.

​

In the spring and summer this moves to the road with specific training exercises on the roads around Rochford, Wakering and Canewdon.  Start times vary but generally start from Golden Cross at 7:30pm for about an hour.

Running

Run training on a Tuesday and Thursday

​

​We currently have two running sessions.  

 

Tuesdays session is at 7.30pm at Garons Leisure Centre running track.

​

Thursdays session starts at 7.30pm and the start point will vary each week to allow for running on different terrains and for different types of sessions.  These will be announced on the Club Facebook Page weekly.
